What type of church are we?
We are a United Methodist Congregation that welcomes individuals from all backgrounds, and we strive to be a true multicultural and interracial community. We are committed to being an inclusive community, a community for all people regardless of race, economic status, physical or mental ability.
What style is the Sunday worship service?
Our Sunday morning worship is a blended service including both contemporary and traditional elements
What's the dress code?
There is none! Come as you are –you’ll find all styles of dress.
What time does the Sunday service start?
10:15 am
How long is the Sunday service?
Approximately 75 minutes
What about Sunday school?
Classes meet from 9:00 to 9:45am.
There are classes for all ages of children, youth and adults.
Where are children during the service?
Children of all ages are welcome in worship. A special Children's Worship Bulletin is available for children ages 4-8. Children who are kindergarten age and younger also have the option of participating in Children’s Church or Worship Education during the latter half of the worship service. If you prefer, a nursery is also available to provide a secure and caring environment for young children.
Do you welcome people with disabilities?
Yes! We welcome all persons to be a part of Resurrection and seek to be accessible to all. We are wheelchair accessible – there are no steps to navigate when entering or moving throughout the ministry center. All areas including the podium are accessible by wheelchair and there is reserved wheelchair seating in the sanctuary. In addition, handicapped parking spaces are available at the rear of the building at an entrance which provides a fully automated door. For individuals with impaired vision, large print bulletins are available as you enter the worship service, and large print hymnals are also available. For individuals with impaired hearing, we have an assisted listening system. A person can use an FM radio and headphones while sitting anywhere in the congregation and hear the service. Radios are available at the church or a person may bring their own. Please ask an usher for any assistance you may need.
What size is your congregation?
We have about 250 members and friends. Our average worship attendance is 130. Our sanctuary/fellowship hall seats about 240 when set up for worship.
