CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

Sunday School is the primary setting at Resurrection UMC for Christian education and formation for children.  Classes for children of all ages meet on Sunday morning from 9:00 to 9:45.

Children’s Church is a time of free play, crafts, and simple lessons for children ages 3-6 held during Sunday morning worship.  Children are encouraged to stay in the worship service with their families until after the Children’s Time and then are invited to go to Children’s Church in the education wing.

Nursery Care for infants through 3 year olds is available during Sunday School and Sunday morning worship.

Open to children of all ages, VBS is a fast-paced time of learning in an atmosphere of fun and creativity.  Crafts, games, music, and storytelling emphasize themes and characters from the Bible.  This is a half-day experience for children in grades pre-K through 5.
